Much more presence than with the Lawson's, and it’s definitely not uninteresting. The first sip hits you with a solid malty backbone, then some slightly chemical notes start to creep in, almost like a faint laboratory vibe. There’s a touch of white wine acidity that brightens it up, but it’s also quite cardboardy and a bit burnt – I can taste burnt herbs on the finish. Overall a curious mix, a little odd but strangely enjoyable 🥃.
