Cheers, this one's a real winter warmer. 🍷 Poured out a lovely garnet red, just like a mulled wine. Straight away you get this massive hit of cinnamon – like fifty cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven, and a bit of gingerbread too. It's a proper festive drink, almost like a hyper-hybrid Xmas liqueur and a malt whisky all in one. The flavours are all over the place in the best way. I'm getting strawberries in all their guises: first it's a peppered strawberry cake, then some rich strawberry jam. There's a lovely note of carrot cake and even some Sachertorte with its chocolatey, apricot vibe. A hint of rosehip tea keeps it from being too sweet. It's got a nice bit of little maltiness, but the main event is all those pastry notes – think pastries full of buttercream. Unusual, but pretty joyful really. It's a rather long finish, warming you right through. Honestly, you don't even think about water with this one; it's just perfect as is. A total winesky kind of experience. 🎄
