This dram’s a real fruit basket, innit? First sip floods the mouth with ripe peaches and those little yellow mirabelles, almost like peach-flavoured cold tea but with more body. Williams pears and greengages dance in there too, super fresh – bags of ’em. It’s creamy, easygoing, a proper lighter Speysider that doesn’t weigh you down. Then this whisper of caraway and green spices sneaks in, not overpowering but just enough to keep things interesting. Banana-y in a way that’s more ‘nanas than anything else, but tied together with this sweet, rounded apple liqueur note. The finish hangs around medium-long, leaves you thinkin’ of fruit salad and sunshine. Proper fruity, but not cloying – elementary in a good way, y’know?
