A gentle swig, pale gold in the glass, and straightaway I’m hit by a clean, almost citrus‑y coastal freshness, like a sea breeze mixing with a hint of eucalyptus. There’s a soft beeswax glow and a whisper of apricots that reminds me of a summer garden, while tiny notes of wild blueberries and mirabelles give it a ripe, fruity edge. A little cake batter sweetness and vanilla drift through, lightly dusted with spices, and I even get a faint taste of a small whelk on the finish – weird but oddly comforting. It’s very zen, not utterly mind‑blowing, just charming and uncomplicated, with the classic character shining through and a subtle peppery lean at the very end. 😊
