First sip gives this honeyed sweetness, kinda like waxy clover honey mixed with a bit of chalky dryness. Getting some soft fruit notes, maybe overripe apples and a hint of fig, but it doesn't linger much. Mid-palate turns into this grassy, slightly smoky thing with some fresh green hints – almost like parsley or samphire? There's a mild, sweet barley core underneath. The finish brings a touch of eucalyptus coolness and then just fades to straw and a vague, not overly memorable aftertaste. Honestly, it's pleasant enough – a good, medium-strength drop. Not a lot to write home about, though. A notch indefinite, but nice for a casual evening. 🥃
