Took a dram, got grassy notes with a whiff of eucalyptus and camphor, then a punch of orange liqueur and citrons fighting back, a touch of kumquat sweetness, and a lingering menthol kick like mint chocolate. Feels a bit dry, almost medicinal, like pure cough syrup but with a warm gold malt backbone and some heavy wood. Kind of reminds me of Indian green mint sauce mixed with baklava crumbs and a hint of salmiak. Not too sherried, more wood and resin, with a faint cannabis edge. 🌿

Blimey, this one’s a proper head-turner! First sip hits you with this bold orange liqueur punch, like someone’s shoved a handful of kumquats in your face, but then it’s all mint – proper Indian green mint sauce vibes, sharp and clean. There’s a medicinal edge though, almost like licking a pine-scented cough sweet, and the woodiness is relentless – think heavy oak barrels or those old-school menthol cigarettes your granddad used to smoke. It’s dry as a bone, no joke, and halfway through I swear I got a whiff of baklava drenched in cannabis smoke, weirdly brilliant mind. The finish? Lingering resin and camphor, like chewing on a tree trunk while sucking a salmiak lolly. Heavy, weirdly wonderful, and leaves you wondering if the oranges are fighting back or running for the hills 🤔🥃

第一口真的像喝了一口纯正的咳嗽糖浆，那种强烈的桉树和薄荷香烟的味道直冲上来，整个口腔都是浓烈的薄荷感。 慢慢地能感觉到橙子利口酒的甜味浮现，还有点像印度绿薄荷酱的辛辣。麦芽味后来会出来一些，有点像After Eight薄荷巧克力的感觉，挺奇妙的。 草本味和树脂感比较明显，整体偏干偏厚，还有点大麻烟的那种调调。木材感很好很厚重，有种雪松香橼的感觉。 雪莉桶的影响不算太多，主要是木头的味道在撑场面。感觉这支酒的风味停留很久，桉树和薄荷的味道一直萦绕不散。 算是比较bold的一杯，不太适合新手但爱好者会觉得有意思 😄

这杯威士忌真的太有个性了！一闻就像打开了冰镇的印度青薄荷酱，清冽得很。喝的时候仿佛在抽那些老式薄荷烟，凉意直冲脑门。 后段慢慢有点像剥开橘子时飞溅的油雾，但居然被重重的木头和药香压住了。尾韵干得像松树胶，还带点柑橘利口酒的回甘，不过整体真是偏干偏硬朗。 偶尔会飘过一丝像八点后薄荷巧克力的影子，但很快就被更强的薄荷感覆盖。说实话有点过于提神了，感觉像含了片桉树叶…… 🌲

Just tried this whisky and oh my, it’s like a gold liquid with a heavy, extractive kick. Less sherried than I expected, but grassier and maltier – almost herbal. The menthol hits like crazy, heavily mentholated, like smoking menthol cigarettes or popping an After Eight mint. Tastes medicinal, with eucalyptus and camphor, and reminds me of Indian green mint sauce or pure cough syrup 😅 It’s drying, with more wood coming through, and that 'heavy' wood is good, but intense. I get resins, and a long time on the finish – even notes of cannabis and citrons fighting back against the oranges. Salty licorice (salmiak) adds another layer. Wonderfully complex, but wow, it’s a wild ride 🥃
