Honestly, poured this one and the colour's a nice gold, but the nose wasn't exactly inviting. Bit uninspiring really, nothing that made me sit up and pay attention. The palate's frankly middling — rougher around the edges than I'd prefer. Finish is fairly long, which is something I suppose, but overall not quite to our taste. Bit of a shame, was hoping for more. Ah well, not every dram's a winner is it 🤷

Poured a soft gold, looked lovely enough, but the nose was not exactly inviting. First sip felt a bit rougher than I’d hoped, more rustic affair really. I was waiting for that umami to show on the palate, but honestly not much umami came through. Finish was fairly long, though rather uninspiring. Bit of a “No comprendo mucho” dram for me 😅 Might pop into Kei’s one day and see what the fuss is about properly.
