A tiny smoky side slips in, like the ashes from a fire‑pit cider night, while a touch of toffee and a whisper of white wine keep it fun and not too tidy. It’s long on the palate, reminding me of apples smoked with fir and beech, a bit like a cappuccino with a praline twist. Honestly, it’s very nice – almost like a Toblerone melting in your mouth after a few sips. 😌🥃

Well, this is quite the character! First thing I get is this lovely chestnut honey sweetness, kinda like a Toblerone or rich toffee. Then it gets really fun - suddenly there’s a bigger, maltier punch and a smoky side that isn't too neat and tidy. Almost like sweet beer or cider, mixed with the smell of apples smoked over fir and beech woods. There’s a bit of beeswax and praline richness in there too, with just a hint of ashes. The aftertaste hangs around, a bit like a sweet, smoky cappuccino. Really nice and interesting! 🍯🔥

Just had a dram and it was fun. Initially I get this toffee sweetness mixed with a kind of Toblerone praline note, really rich. Then it opens up to something maltier and smokier – apples smoked with fir and beech woods come to mind, plus a slightly smoky side. The texture is lovely, almost like creamy cappuccino froth or fresh bread dough. It develops into these nice beeswax and cider apple notes, less neat and tidy but interesting. The aftertaste is long, with a touch of white wine tartness and something like buttery croissants. Very nice indeed. 👍

Nose is like golden honey 🍯 wth a bit of orange peel and vanilla custard. Palate hits ya wth creamy caramel, a touch of smoked bacon (weirdly nice!), and sum dried fruit—raisins maybe? Finish is long, warm, an a bit spicy, like cinnamon sprinkled on toast. It’s well balanced, innit? Not too punchy, just a right proper dram for a rainy afternoon. 🥃
