Honestly this one’s a bit of a mixed bag for me 😅 The nose is almost perfect, the blend to nose is spot on here – got leafy herbs, fresh walnuts, whiffs of hot toasts, candle wax, even hints of orange cake, butterscotch and vanilla fudge, all really well composed, has that lovely gold warmth to it. But when you sip it, it’s a tad weakish, short and rather thin, a touch of corn syrup sweetness, mildly smoky, drier than I expected, lacking depth and fruits. It’s nice but not in the same league anymore, feels simpler overall. Not bad at all, just doesn’t hit quite like it used to 🤷‍♂️

Smells lovely, a bit of a blend to nose with whiffs of hot toasts and light honey 🍯. Tastes a tad weakish and rather thin, but quite nice. Got some butterscotch, corn syrup, and tea-ish notes going on, with a hint of fresh walnuts and leafy herbs. Ends with a bit of toasted bread and something mildly smoky. Simpler than I expected, but very nice overall 🥃

You know, poured myself a dram after work. Nose is almost perfect—like fresh candle wax and whiffs of hot toasts, with some light honey and vanilla fudge in there. Blends together nicely. Taste-wise, it’s mildly smoky, a bit obvious with the smokiness, but also gets leafy and herbaceous. Can’t quite shake that corn syrup note, and it feels a bit lacking in depth and fruits. Some tea-ish vibes come through, maybe like a weak black tea. Finishes short and rather thin, simpler really. Butterscotch pops up briefly. Overall? Not bad at all. 😊

Poured a dram, got these lovely whiffs of hot toasts and some tea-ish notes underneath. There's a little corn syrup sweetness there too. Taste-wise, it's simpler than I remembered - a touch of fresh walnuts, maybe? The blend to nose is gentle. Finish is short and rather thin, lacking depth and fruits for me. Obvious smokiness though, which I like, with a light honey touch. It's nice but not in the same league anymore, I reckon. Still, very nice on a quiet evening - not bad at all. Colour's a proper gold. Just feels a tad weakish compared to some others. 😊

Nose is proper rich, like autumn woods after rain. Taste hits with warm vanilla and a hint of apple cake, innit. 🔥 Gets smoky at the finish, but gentle like embers, not a bonfire. Really moreish, fank you.
